Artist's Description

Yet another shot of the magnificent slot canyon outside of Page, Arizona. I took this towards the end of my time in the canyon, feverishly trying to capture every interesting angle and color. I didn't have the money to rent out the canyon for the day (they told me the $100 I had was about $20,000 short or something like that...), so I had to settle for the 3 hour tour. And no, I didn't end up on an island with Gilligan. Since the floor of the canyon was flooded with people all trying to take shots, I tried to focus my effort upward. After the light beams fade and the afternoon glow takes over, the interesting shots, to me, were all found by looking upward anyway.

About Brad Brizek

Brad Brizek

Welcome! I'm originally from the southeast corner of Pennsylvania (just above Amish country), but I've traveled a good bit of the planet. I currently reside in Tucson, Arizona. I've been taking photos since 2006 and have been refining my style ever since. I have a particular passion for landscape, architectural, and transportation themes, although I've been known to do abstracts from time to time. Each one of my images has a story that goes along with it of how it came to be. If you're interested, please read a bit about how I got the shot or what the subject is. If you like what you see, please come back regularly as I upload new shots all the time. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll find something that interests you!
