Description
This is one of the many bamboo fountains at Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto, Japan. Areas like this are for visitors to wash their hands in before praying in the temple. This simple and elegant design is yet another reason I love Kyoto. Every time I see this picture, it brings back peaceful memories from a few years ago and an ocean away.
