Artist's Description

The Hayabusa Shinkansen (Bullet Train) waits at a station in northern Japan. If you look to the right, you'll see other tracks that bypass the platform ones. We stopped here so my five year old son could see some of these trains running at full speed through the station.

It did not disappoint. The Hayabusa Shinkansen regularly hits speeds of 320 kph, or 200mph. It was loud, and it was awesome.

About Brad Brizek

Brad Brizek

Welcome! I'm originally from the southeast corner of Pennsylvania (just above Amish country), but I've traveled a good bit of the planet. I currently reside in Tucson, Arizona. I've been taking photos since 2006 and have been refining my style ever since. I have a particular passion for landscape, architectural, and transportation themes, although I've been known to do abstracts from time to time. Each one of my images has a story that goes along with it of how it came to be. If you're interested, please read a bit about how I got the shot or what the subject is. If you like what you see, please come back regularly as I upload new shots all the time. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll find something that interests you!
