Shot of a small stream in Oirase Gorge in winter. With highs around 90F and lows below 0F, Oirase Gorge has a very wide range of scenery. In winter, the gorge usually gets a large amount of snow and Lake Towada partially ices over. This leads to a slow freeze of most of the water in the area. But, even in winter, a small amount of water can find its way downstream.
