Description
Saguaro National Park while we were camping out in the park...... Here you have a chance to see these enormous cacti, silhouetted by the beauty of a magnificent desert sunset.
............................................
Tucson, Arizona is home to North America's largest cacti. ..... The giant saguaro is the universal symbol of the American west. These majestic plants, found only in a small portion of the United States, are protected by Saguaro National Park, to the east and west of the modern city of Tucson.
...........................................
Many of the plants of the Sonoran Desert are not only edible, they are great sources of nutrition, including the buds of the Staghorn Cholla which is a great source of calcium and magnesium.

My Goal for Decades has been to show my Impressions of the Blessings in Beauty that Surround all of Us. That my work may take you to places you may not have the opportunity to see... Where we can just see glimpses of the Creator, through HIS creations...

Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, impasto, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer and software, a graphics program offering a virtual canvas and
painting box with a large amount of brushes, colors and other supplies. The box contains many instruments that do not exist outside the computer, which give a digital artwork a different look and feel from an artwork that is made the traditional way.

I too am exploring the possibilities of digital painting, as you describe it. For me, the initial photographs don't capture what I see or experience in U.S. national parks. Trying to explain the difference between digital painting and traditional painting or even from photography has been a bit of an uphill battle, as even to get respect for the process is often difficult. I love your work. My work can be found at www.onandofftheroadcreativeimages.com, if you're interested.
