Description

This waterfall, called Choushi-Ootaki in Japanese, is located in Oirase Gorge in northern Japan. The gorge is a popular fall travel destination for many people in Japan due to its rich foliage and fairly level walking path. I was lucky enough to capture this photo during only my second week living in Japan, as the leaves are at peak for only a day or two.
