Description
Overcast skies are wonderful. Nothing brings out the lush green of the woods like a cloudy day and a polarizer.
This is a lake just outside of Aoike, Japan, which is a deep, sapphire pool of water surrounded by trees. Unfortunately, by the time I got up to it, it had started raining, so I didn't get any good shots of the main objective of the trip.
Along the way was this lake along the left side of the trail. I liked how it seemed to keep disappearing behind the trees. The greenery reflected well off the water and I was able to get a bit more depth of color with the polarizer. Never leave home without it!
