Artist's Description

Strasburg Railroad's Number 90 pulls into the station at East Strasburg, PA. I've been interested in trains since I was little. Modern engines are nice and I love riding the Shinkansen (bullet train) in Japan, but there is something about steam engines that I just like. Maybe it's the way the locomotive seems almost alive. With all the hissing and smoking, they almost seem to be breathing.

I grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania and we always went to Strasburg once a year to ride the train. Even now, when I go back home, I always try to stop by.

About Brad Brizek

Brad Brizek

Welcome! I'm originally from the southeast corner of Pennsylvania (just above Amish country), but I've traveled a good bit of the planet. I currently reside in Tucson, Arizona. I've been taking photos since 2006 and have been refining my style ever since. I have a particular passion for landscape, architectural, and transportation themes, although I've been known to do abstracts from time to time. If you like what you see, please come back regularly as I upload new shots all the time. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll find something that interests you!
